Nestled in the Southern Isles, the Uist Community Riding School on the picturesque Isle of Benbecula serves as a hub for horse and pony riding. As a not-for-profit establishment, we provide a variety of equestrian activities and practical experiences throughout the year, alongside livery services. Our facility features nine indoor stables, a floodlit indoor arena, an outdoor paddock equipped with jumping and schooling white boards, and ample land for turnout. Thanks to our serene location, our hacking routes offer a peaceful experience with minimal traffic. During the spring and summer months, the stunning beaches become a highlight, offering the perfect setting for memorable beach rides. We cater to riders of all ages, with pony rides available from age two, lessons starting at age five, and beach rides from age seven. For those seeking livery options, we provide a range of services including full, assisted DIY, DIY, working, grass, and holiday livery, complete with stabling and year-round turnout.
