Thundry Farm Livery and Training Centre provides excellent facilities, outstanding care, and a welcoming environment for both you and your horse, supported by a resident BS Accredited Level III Coach. Our establishment is entirely focused on delivering a reliable livery service and quality training. Central to our mission is a genuine commitment to the welfare of the horses entrusted to us. As a BHS Approved Livery Yard, we have consistently been recognised with Highly Commended status for several years. We are particularly suited for competitive amateur riders, especially those involved in showjumping. Thundry combines the professionalism of a larger yard with the intimate atmosphere of a private setting, creating a friendly space where riders can enjoy their horses, regardless of their discipline. We offer three tiers of livery services tailored to meet the varying needs and budgets of horse owners. Each option guarantees the highest standard of care and meticulous attention to detail, adhering to the same principles we have applied for over three decades in the management and welfare of our own competition horses, so you can rest assured about your horse's wellbeing. We do not provide DIY livery, as we believe it can disrupt the established routine that benefits the horses. To ensure a personalised experience and to prevent overcrowding, we limit the number of livery spaces available. Our horse-to-groom ratio is a maximum of 5:1, allowing our staff to dedicate ample time to each horse, ensuring they receive quality one-on-one attention. Nestled in the picturesque Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we are conveniently located near major roadways (M3, A3, M25). Our resident coach, Christine Shubrook, an accredited BS Level 3 coach, regularly travels with us to British Showjumping events across the South East, South West, and Midlands. She is also a certified NLP Practitioner for Sport and a Centre10 Advanced Coach, having been selected for the National Development Programme for Coaching Excellence. We understand that choosing the right home for your horse is a significant decision. For further details, please visit our website. However, the best way to truly appreciate our yard, explore the facilities, and pose any questions you may have is to visit us in person.
