We are a family-owned establishment located in the picturesque area of Claygate, Surrey. Slough Farm is a welcoming livery yard that provides a relaxed atmosphere for both horses and their owners. We offer DIY and five-day assisted livery options. In addition to being a livery yard, we operate a working farm with sheep, cattle, poultry, and hay production. Spanning 142 acres of beautifully maintained pasture, our clientele includes both serious competitors and enthusiastic pony club members. Our well-kept pastures allow for 24-hour turnout during the summer months, and we maintain this throughout the year. We also feature six individual turnout paddocks specifically designed for horses recovering from injuries under veterinary care. Our newly constructed large outdoor arena, made of fibre and sand, is equipped with sturdy, floodlit fencing and is levelled daily, complete with a full set of jumps. In our exercise paddock, we provide a comprehensive selection of plastic show jumps and various custom-made fillers, along with adaptable cross-country jumps and designated schooling areas, including a round pen. We have a dedicated hot horse wash area featuring a solarium and facilities for tying up horses for drying after grooming. There are lovely hacking trails with access to Esher Common, Oxshott, Arbrook, and Prince’s Covert. Our qualified staff reside on-site around the clock. We are conveniently located just 30 minutes from Central London, with easy access to public transport, being close to Claygate train station and a mere five-minute walk from the nearest bus stop.
