We are a welcoming small yard managed by a husband and wife duo with over 40 years of experience in various equestrian disciplines. Our goal is to offer exceptional care and facilities for our clients and their cherished horses, exceeding the standards of the BHS Livery Yard Approved Scheme, all at competitive prices. Whatever your horse's needs—be it for competition, shows, or an older family companion—we are here to assist. Feel free to contact us to discuss your specific requirements.Our spacious brick stables, measuring 14’ x 13’, are available in both traditional and American Barn styles. Each stable features outside windows, allowing horses to enjoy views of the gardens and paddocks, and they are equipped with automatic water drinkers. Both stable blocks are situated off a concrete yard and walkways, creating a courtyard in front of the house, enabling us to monitor everything around the clock. For added security, we have installed Dusk ’til Dawn Security Lighting in the stable yard.Before your horse arrives, we thoroughly power wash its designated stable to ensure it is clean and hygienic. Inside, the stables are painted with a black lower half and white upper half, providing a bright and well-ventilated environment. Upon arrival, all new horses are wormed before being turned out, and we adhere to a regular worming schedule, treating all horses simultaneously.If this is your first horse, we offer training in stable management and horse care to help you navigate this exciting journey. We are located near several bridleways, allowing for hacks of one hour, two to three hours, or longer, depending on your preference. You can also enjoy rides along quiet lanes towards Hemingstone, Coddenham, and through the Shrublands Estate.Our location provides convenient access to the A14 and A12, making it easy to reach further shows. We are within a short travelling distance to Wix EC, Norton Heath EC, Orwell Arena, Trinity Park Show Ground, Newton Hall E.C, and Otley College, with Westerfield Showground also accessible by hacking.
