Pitt House Green Stables is a small, family-owned establishment located just outside Dymock, approximately 15 minutes from Hartpury College, Ross on Wye, and Ledbury, nestled on the border of three counties in Gloucestershire. We provide a range of livery options, including DIY, assisted, and rehabilitation services, all within a welcoming and relaxed environment on our 100-acre farm. Our facilities, available to all liveries, feature a floodlit, mirrored arena measuring 45x23m, equipped with a silica sand and fibre surface that withstands various weather conditions. We also have a lunge arena and a selection of quality show jumps with fillers. For those who enjoy riding out, there are extensive off-road hacking routes across the farm, including a large canter track, as well as quiet country lanes and bridle paths leading into the adjacent Queens Woods. The grazing fields are well-maintained, with mains fencing and shelters provided in each field. We regularly rotate the fields to ensure fresh grazing, which are also harrowed and rolled. Turnout is organised in small, carefully managed groups, with 24/7 grazing typically available from April to October, and hardstanding turnout offered during severe weather conditions. Our stables are both spacious and comfortable, complemented by large individual tack rooms and barn space for storing bedding and hay. Straw and hay are available for purchase, while shavings and alternative bedding are permitted. We do not impose set opening times, allowing for flexibility in caring for your horse around personal commitments.Additionally, we have a fully qualified veterinary physiotherapist on-site, along with access to therapy equipment to support your horse's well-being.
