Pencarrow Livery Stables is a charming, family-run establishment located near Bodmin Moor and Roughtor Mountain. The yard provides a variety of livery options, including DIY, part, and full livery, along with bespoke services to meet individual needs, as well as temporary care during illness or holidays.We offer short-term or overnight livery for equestrian events and stays. Pencarrow boasts excellent facilities for both horses and their owners. The stabling options include various indoor and outdoor spaces, equipped with electricity and water. There are hard-standing tie-up areas and a hot shower for horses. Ample storage is available, featuring a tool room and secure individual tack rooms. The yard is monitored by 24/7 CCTV and provides plenty of parking.For riding, there is a 10 x 20m floodlit all-weather arena, a seasonal grass arena, and a new 30ft metal-panelled round pen. Additionally, we have poles and show jumps for riders to use, as well as a 40ft round pen suitable for exercise or winter turnout. Turnout options can be individual or shared, with secure fencing and mains electric available for 24-hour access during summer months. A stone track connects the stable yard to the paddocks, which are equipped with automatic waterers and mains water access. There is also a hard-standing area for all-weather turnout.Located in Advent, Camelford, our rural parish is predominantly moorland, offering extensive riding opportunities across the stunning ancient landscape. It is only a 20-minute ride to Rough Tor, known for its expansive moorland and scenic views that stretch for miles. Rough Tor and Bodmin Moor are renowned as some of Cornwall's premier locations for hacking and long-distance endurance riding.
