We operate a welcoming livery yard situated on our family farm just a few miles to the west of Marlborough. Our aim is to foster a cheerful environment with well-kept facilities for both you and your equine companions to relish. Our barns are open plan and sociable, featuring storage options adjacent to the stables as well as hay and straw storage. The tack rooms are secure. You can enjoy exceptional hacking directly onto the Marlborough Downs, including the Ridgeway and further afield, with numerous peaceful lanes and access to West Woods. We offer a 20m x 50m arena equipped with a sand and Martin Collins fibre surface, complemented by a set of show jumps. Additionally, there is a jumping and schooling field available during dry conditions (typically from March or April onwards), featuring 30 cross-country jumps ranging from 40 to 90cm, grass show jumps, and a 20m x 60m grass arena. Our paddocks are well-fenced and maintained, providing summer and winter turnout in individual, paired, or small herd arrangements according to your horse's needs, with 24-hour turnout from spring to autumn, subject to ground conditions. In winter, horses are stabled overnight. The location offers convenient access to local equestrian venues. We have a lovely community of liveries with diverse riding interests, from casual hacking to competitive pursuits. Clinics and lessons can be arranged on-site, and outside instructors are welcome. Facilities include a hot wash box and a rubber-matted cross-tie area for veterinary, physiotherapy, or chiropractic use. We can offer some assistance depending on individual requirements. There is also trailer and lorry parking available for a nominal fee, as well as hay and straw for sale on-site. The front gates are secured at night, and the owners reside on the premises.
