If you seek a compact, tranquil yard exclusively for adults, complete with pathways for spring and summer and well-drained, mud-free grazing throughout winter, then you’ve come to the right place. The property features a variety of tracks bordered by hedgerows, providing ample opportunities for foraging during the warmer months, alongside a spacious hardstanding area equipped with field shelters and a water trough, allowing horses the freedom to return at their leisure.Here, horses are not kept in pairs or solitary turnout; you won't encounter stressed animals left alone or yearning for companionship, nor will any horse be deprived of food for extended periods or confined to a stable for most of the day. To maintain the health of our fields, which are rich in meadow and timothy grass, we avoid overgrazing and provide overnight stabling during winter months, ensuring 10 hours of turnout daily. For your horse to join our small herd, it must be barefoot, sociable—having previously lived with both mares and geldings—and free from aggressive tendencies (those who kick will not stay long), as well as being able to adapt to a more natural way of life.
