Inadown Farm Livery Stables is a riding school and livery yard located in the picturesque countryside of Hampshire. We are proud to be an approved establishment by both the British Horse Society (BHS) and the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS+), in addition to being a recognised Pony Club centre. Our aim is to offer a comprehensive array of facilities that cater to both horses and riders. We organise a wide range of activities, including both private and group lessons. For those at an intermediate level and above, we provide hacking opportunities, as well as options for children and guided walks for disabled riders. We do not conduct lead rein group lessons; children who are not yet confident riding independently must attend private lessons until they can walk and trot unaided. We welcome riders aged from 4 to over 65, depending on their physical abilities, with a weight limit of 14 stone (please contact us to discuss any requirements above this limit). Inadown Livery has been operating alongside the riding school for more than 15 years, offering various livery packages tailored to the needs of you and your horse. Our seven-day livery service includes daily care for your horse, excluding riding, tack cleaning, and grooming, which can be arranged at an additional cost. We manage turnout year-round: in summer, horses are turned out at night and brought in during the day, while in winter, they are out during the day and stabled at night. Many liveries enjoy hacking together, and pub rides are particularly popular among adults in the summer months. With numerous public bridleways nearby, the opportunities for exploration are vast. Our staff are familiar with several routes and can provide guidance if you’re unsure where to venture. Throughout the year, we host a variety of competitions exclusively for our clients, including show jumping, dressage, and arena cross-country. As a BHS and ‘Where to Train’ centre, we offer a diverse range of training encompassing both riding and horse care. We have a selection of horses available for training to ensure candidates experience a broad variety before their exams. Our instructors are qualified and have all completed their BHS exams, equipping them to guide clients on what to expect.
