Hook Farm operates a well-managed livery yard with family members residing on the premises. We offer various options including DIY, Assisted DIY, and a superb retirement livery service known as Sussex Weald Retirement Livery. Nestled in the picturesque High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in West Sussex, our location provides an idyllic backdrop for equine activities, allowing visitors to savour the serenity of the English countryside. We believe that the happiness of both horses and their owners is paramount to our operations, fostering a warm and welcoming environment. Our facilities cater particularly well to those who enjoy leisurely rides, with extensive off-road routes across vast farmland, featuring a variety of trails through woodlands and areas with breathtaking views. We are also conveniently close to excellent bridleways. The stable yard includes both internal and external 12x12 looseboxes, along with larger boxes available for bigger horses if needed. We ensure unrestricted daily turnout in spacious paddocks throughout the winter, and during the summer months, owners may opt for 24/7 turnout if they wish. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive Grass Livery package with stable access when necessary. Our amenities include a floodlit rubber-topped all-weather arena and high-quality plastic show jumps, as well as a 20x60 grass dressage area with a jumping field available during the summer. For those requiring assistance with turnouts, we have professional freelance help available on weekdays at a reasonable cost. On-site, we also have an advanced animal physiotherapist and an equestrian massage therapist. We produce our own high-quality hay and source clean straw, while allowing liveries the option to purchase and store small amounts of their preferred bedding. Our facilities feature secure tack rooms and all-night lighting around the stables, with plans to install additional security cameras in the near future. We can accommodate lorry and trailer parking, and we are conveniently located just 15 minutes from Felbridge Equestrian Centre, 20 minutes from Oldencraig Dressage Centre, and 15 minutes from Ardingly Showground.
