Over five acres of fully surfaced turnout spaces and tracks are available, featuring a spacious open barn with bedding that is cleaned daily. Horses are kept in a herd environment, enjoying the outdoors all year round, with constant access to forage. The grazing areas are rich in biodiversity and free from pesticides, comprising beneficial grasses and herbs, with ryegrass content maintained at under 10% NSC when analysed. Grazing is limited during periods when laminitis poses a risk, and hay is provided in slow feeders around the clock in surfaced turnout areas. There are 55 acres of sustainably managed, rotational grazing and hay meadows. A 22x42 metre floodlit all-weather arena is also on site. Veterinary callouts from Epona are complimentary during working hours. The yard promotes a friendly, supportive, and non-judgemental environment for all. We maintain a barefoot-only herd, and we welcome inquiries from those interested in transitioning from shod to barefoot. Our management prioritises welfare, drawing on a solid understanding of equine behaviour and extensive experience. New horses are introduced to the herd gradually and safely. The facilities include mains electricity and water, a kettle, individual lockable tack rooms, and a concrete, sheltered yard and stables for all weather conditions.
