Situated in the southern region of England, Harmony Equitation and Natural Livery offers a diverse array of services. By integrating an understanding of equine behaviour with natural biomechanics, we have developed a training approach that is both horse-friendly and ethical, recognising each horse as a unique individual. Our livery options are customised to meet specific needs and include Assisted Livery, Retirement Livery, as well as Part and Full Livery (non-stabled). All packages grant access to our extensive facilities. While we provide stables for emergencies or severe weather, they can also be added to any package for an additional fee. Our amenities feature a spacious indoor barn, a secure tack room, and storage areas, alongside an indoor arena measuring 18m x 33m, equipped with lighting. Additionally, we have a seasonal 65m x 35m enclosed grass jumping arena with show jumps, and a 3km farm ride across the grassland. We are conveniently located near Cotswold Water Park, ideal for scenic rides around the lakes. Our yard is dedicated to equine welfare, ensuring care that aligns with horses' natural behaviours and needs. We promote herd living, allowing horses to display their instincts, with continuous access to high-quality forage. An on-site instructor, specialising in Natural and Classical philosophies, is available for guidance and support as required. Our Natural Livery services employ a track system, inspired by Jaime Jackson's “Paddock Paradise” concept, which reflects the social dynamics and movement patterns of wild horse herds in the Great Basin. This system provides domestic horses with an environment that closely resembles their natural habitat. We also provide a bespoke rehabilitation livery service tailored to the individual requirements of your horse. Please reach out to us for a rehabilitation consultation with Jennie to discuss specific needs. In addition to managing Harmony Equitation and Natural Livery, Jennie is a certified ISNCHP trimmer and instructor based in Leigh, Cotswolds. She offers trimming services across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, and Oxfordshire, and appointments can be made by contacting us. Furthermore, we regularly host clinics and training sessions for in-hand work, liberty training, and bridle-less riding. Whether you are just starting or have some experience, there is something suitable for everyone. Our Indoor Arena can also be booked via our website. For any inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us to arrange a consultation.
