At Gawsworth Track Livery, we provide round-the-clock turnout throughout the year on our specially designed surfaced track, along with complimentary access to our spacious, well-ventilated barn equipped with bedding and salt/mineral licks. The area remains largely mud-free, which both horses and their owners appreciate—though we do ensure there's a bit of mud for them to roll around in and enjoy. Our full livery service includes ad-lib hay on the track, provision of feed, hoof care, and rug checks or changes. Owners have the flexibility to be as involved as they wish, making it an ideal option for retirement livery as well as standard livery. The horses are treated with the utmost care, and as evident from the photographs, they are in excellent health. We boast the largest surfaced track known to us, featuring over 720 tonnes of sand and stone. The diverse surfaces we provide replicate the varied terrains wild horses would encounter, promoting healthy hoof growth and aiding in various barefoot rehabilitation issues. Many of our current liveries have come to us due to conditions like laminitis and EMS, having previously been kept in stables or on concrete pads to avoid the hazardous rich Cheshire dairy grass. Since joining us, these horses have thrived and are enjoying a natural life within a herd. We offer over 30 acres of fields for hacking and galloping, and our access to quiet country lanes and local bridle paths enhances the experience. Somerford Park Farm is just a 15-minute drive away, featuring excellent facilities, including a large farm ride and numerous clinics and camps. If you are interested in joining our joyful herd and friendly community of livery clients, please reach out soon, as spaces are filling up rapidly!
