At our well-managed yard, the well-being of your horse is our top priority. We provide comprehensive livery services, ensuring your horse receives expert care every day of the week, including holidays and Christmas. Horses are our true passion, and we offer full livery at Gamston Wood, where we focus on understanding each horse's unique character and catering to their specific needs. Our Winter Full Livery package includes a dedicated stable, wood pellet bedding over rubber matting, haylage or hay, basic hard feed, hoof care twice daily, daily turnout, and access to the arena and wash area. During the summer, our Full Livery offers stable accommodation, all-day turnout in our carefully managed paddocks, regular health checks, rug management as necessary, and use of the arena, show jumping field, farm rides, grass dressage arena, and wash facilities. We also provide holiday livery, with options for exercise and training available at an additional cost.Situated in a picturesque location, our superb facilities include a schooling arena, jumping field, summer gallop, farm track, stables, and grazing areas, all maintained to the highest standards. Rachel Ashworth, the yard owner, is a qualified British Horse Society and Pony Club coach and has recently taken on the role of chief instructor for the Grove Hunt Pony Club. With extensive experience across various rider levels, ages, aspirations, and disciplines, we offer professional, tailored instruction to enhance the bond between you and your horse, alongside structured training across all disciplines. We regularly organise group lessons and clinics at Gamston Wood. Our dedicated team of qualified staff is committed to helping you and your horse get back on track, whether through schooling or rehabilitation services for injuries, fitness work, or behavioural challenges.
