Our Full Track Livery is designed for horses suffering from laminitis or those affected by grass, as well as for those seeking a more natural way of life. We offer a communal barn, a spacious surfaced yard, a partially surfaced track for the horses, and a grass-free area for loafing, along with a woodchip track for ponies. The conventional practice of stabling horses with access to lush paddocks can result in various health and behavioural problems. Denying horses the chance to engage in natural behaviours—such as grooming, constant foraging, movement, and making choices—can lead to significant stress and issues like ulcers, box-walking, weaving, separation anxiety, and aggression. We promote movement through tracks that wind around and through the land, limit grass consumption, and provide unlimited tested meadow hay. Our barefoot horses enjoy the freedom to choose between being indoors or outdoors and can socialise with their companions as nature intended.
