Elker Equine currently has a variety of livery options available, from DIY to Assisted Livery, tailored to suit your horse's requirements, all set within exceptional facilities. Located conveniently between Flaxton and Thornton le Clay, we have easy access to the A64 and the picturesque Howardian Hills. We take pride in our rigorous welfare and worming protocols, overseen by our local veterinary practice, which has resulted in a higher percentage of horses on our premises not needing treatment compared to the national average, thanks to our collective efforts.We provide experienced and professional care for your horse, prioritising their welfare above all. All equines on-site are fully vaccinated, making our yard an ideal choice for competitive riders. Our top-notch facilities are meticulously maintained and set in a stunning environment, featuring individual stable blocks and American Barn stabling, along with grazing in private paddocks. During winter, we offer unrestricted daytime turnout, while in summer, you can choose between 24/7 turnout or daytime access, ensuring ample grazing opportunities.For riding and exercise, we have a floodlit 20x40 schooling arena, a floodlit 40x40 jumping arena, a grass jumping field, summer cross-country schooling, and a horse walker. There is excellent local hacking available, complemented by two miles of farm tracks. We also provide a spacious area next to the stables for storing personal equipment, along with separate storage for individual forage. Our site is secure, with electric gate access, and we offer flexible early and late access to accommodate busy schedules.On-site, we have a BHS APC coach and regularly host visiting coaches and clinics.
