We are a community-driven social enterprise located along the South East coast of Scotland, operating from a 24-acre off-grid farm. Our mission is to assist individuals in their journey towards wellness and empowerment through a variety of therapeutic, educational, and community-focused initiatives. We provide a diverse array of equine services, including riding lessons, experience days, events, clinics, professional training pathways, arena rental, livery options, clipping, horse training, backing, and rehabilitation services. For horse owners, we offer tailored livery packages, which encompass holiday, DIY, part, full, and working arrangements, with the option of full grass or partial stabling. Our livery services also incorporate behavioural training, rehabilitation, starting young horses, schooling, and sales livery; we understand that the time and space required for these activities are often a luxury not everyone can afford, and we are eager to collaborate with your equine companions. We are committed to investing in children and young people, helping them enhance their physical and mental wellbeing through community engagement while fostering robust coping mechanisms. This equips them to lead fulfilling lives and build stronger relationships. Our purpose-built off-grid site welcomes the community to partake in our outdoor learning, educational development activities, and equine experiences, all while striving to minimise environmental impact and working towards a carbon net-zero facility. ESR operates in two distinct sectors: one focuses on therapeutic, educational, and community activities, while the other offers commercial sports, learning and development packages, training, team-building activities, and venue hire. Eat Sleep Ride is the sole organisation within a 50-mile radius providing such a comprehensive suite of social and professional development services.
