Court Farm Equestrian, previously known as Carters Barn Equestrian located in Piddlehinton near Dorchester, has undergone a transformation following an excellent four and a half years at our initial site. Due to our growing demand, we have expanded from our 16-stable yard and are delighted to have established ourselves at Court Farm in Buckland Newton. We continue to provide a range of top-notch services including full livery, schooling livery, backing livery, hunting, rehabilitation, sales, and holiday livery, all delivered by our dedicated team of experienced professionals. Each horse is treated with the utmost care as if it were our own, allowing us to tailor a personalised care plan that meets the needs of both horse and owner. We are equipped to accommodate a diverse range of equestrian needs, from leisure riders to competition horses and everything in between. Our yard is ideally situated between South Dorset, Cattistock, and the B&SV Hunts. Nestled within a beautiful and secluded 500-acre private estate in Buckland Newton, our 23-stable yard offers direct access to extensive bridleways. The hacking is exceptionally varied, featuring routes to Batcombe Down and the Dorset Gap, with ample opportunities for hill work to enhance fitness. We also have peaceful lanes available for those wishing to avoid road work. Our team is always pleased to share the best local routes with our liveries. We maintain our yard and grounds to the highest standards, ensuring everything is clean, tidy, and well-organised. Our facilities include a 30x60 Martin Collins arena equipped with a complete set of Jump for Joy jumps and fillers, a Monarch horse walker, a grass jump/schooling field, spacious stables with oversized automatic drinkers, and an internal wash bay with hot and cold water. Additionally, we have a full HD 4K CCTV system, a secure, alarmed tack room, a locked feed store, and tea and coffee making facilities. Our large concreted areas are perfect for loading and unloading, and we provide outdoor tie-up and washing-off facilities. We hold monthly dressage and flatwork clinics led by Amy Blount, a UKCC Level 3 and BD accredited coach. A full-time staff member resides on-site, with late checks included. Our turnout areas are secure, well-maintained, and regularly poo-picked, allowing for all-year-round pair or individual turnout, with smaller paddocks available for isolation or controlled turnout.
