We are now exclusively offering DIY livery, with the option to engage Freelance Grooms for assistance or full-service livery if needed. Our facility includes 48 stables arranged across six blocks, along with three outdoor riding arenas (two of which are floodlit) measuring 60×30, 40×20, and 39×19. We also have a coffee shop, toilets, and a pay-per-use solarium. You are welcome to bring your own farrier, vet, therapist, or instructor. Turnout is available year-round whenever possible, with paddocks roughly 1-2 acres in size, though individual turnout is unfortunately not an option. As a busy show venue, we cater well to those without transport who wish to compete. The environment is child-friendly, provided they are well-behaved. A local feed merchant, Brambledown, delivers on a weekly basis, and we have a full show jumping course available to book for at least one week each month. Additionally, we host bi-annual visits from a nutritionist from Saracen’s Feeds, complete with a weighbridge. Parking for lorries and trailers is limited and subject to availability, with charges applicable. Access is from 6am, and we ask that all activities conclude by 9pm. Livery fees are billed monthly in advance, due on the first of each month by standing order, and a deposit is required. A contract will be issued, and references may be requested. In terms of local amenities, there is a newly opened veterinary practice just up the hill (The Equine Hospital, formerly The Veterinary Hospital at Newnham Court). There are numerous byways and bridleways nearby, as well as TROT routes and local private hacking options. The Hucking Estate ride and a local pub with horse tie-ups are just a short distance away. Bearsted Village is the nearest settlement, and Bearsted Train Station is approximately a five-minute drive away, traffic permitting. Detling Village is also close, featuring a community convenience store with a post office open seven days a week (with limited hours on Wednesdays). DIY livery starts at £40 per week, and prices vary depending on the stable or block.
