We are a charming small DIY grass yard located on a farm at Bix Bottom, close to Henley-on-Thames, with limited availability. The horses enjoy round-the-clock access to grass turnout, providing ample grazing throughout the year. At present, we accommodate five horses but have room for a few more. Although we do not have stables, there is a hard-standing area for grooming and saddling up, equipped with electricity, lighting, and water. We also have a feed storage area and a small covered barn for emergencies, veterinary visits, and shelter from the rain. Facilities include a toilet, a secure tack room, ample parking, and provisions for making tea or coffee. While we lack a riding school, we boast excellent and extensive hacking routes. Horses must be comfortable in a mixed herd and ideally should be barefoot or without hind shoes. We are a small community of friendly, welcoming owners seeking someone to help out and share in chores such as ragwort removal. The monthly fee is £90.
