Situated in a tranquil and picturesque setting just outside Wickham, Hampshire, Bere Meadows Equestrian provides a livery service seven days a week. With only 12 spacious brick stables, your horse will receive exceptional individual attention. We ensure daily turnout regardless of the weather; I strongly believe that horses thrive when they spend time outdoors rather than confined in stables for extended periods. Our 17 acres of well-draining, chalk-based grazing are carefully rotated, and we offer turnout in individual or small groups, matching horses based on their personalities. In winter, horses are turned out during the day for at least four hours, while in summer, they enjoy overnight turnout to maximise their time outside. Our facilities include a 30mx60m outdoor arena, equipped with a rubber and sand surface and mirrors, as well as an indoor school for the darker, wetter evenings. Direct from the yard, there are off-road hacking trails that lead to Wickham Common, the Forest of Bere, and a grass canter track. I live on-site and conduct late-night checks, with CCTV surveillance for added security. Our livery package provides unlimited access to hay or haylage—no locked hay barns here!—and you can choose between large straw beds or one bale of Aubichick per week.
