As a family-run establishment led by showjumper and young horse producer Jade Meagher, we have a particular focus on sensitive and unique equines. Jade has honed her skills over decades, training under various esteemed showjumpers and continuously broadening her knowledge.We regard each horse as an individual, aiming to nurture their strengths and personalities while also working on areas that may require improvement. Jade employs gentle, patient, and empathetic methods in both groundwork and riding, ensuring that our horses develop both physically and mentally. Her small, lightweight frame allows her to handle ponies as small as 11hh up to horses measuring 18hh. We prioritise the long-term well-being of our horses, ensuring they are never rushed or given tasks they are not prepared for.Affinity Showjumping offers a variety of training packages, both in-house and freelance, including backing and breaking in, schooling and producing, competition preparation, and addressing behavioural issues, both ridden and on the ground. We cater to ponies and horses of all sizes, except for competition livery, which is reserved for those competing in British Showjumping senior classes.In the backing and breaking in process, we recognise the importance of laying a solid foundation for the horse's future under saddle. We understand the challenges of selecting the right person for your horse or pony's early education. Jade's extensive experience ensures that every horse is started with care, using clear and patient horsemanship to instil boundaries, confidence, and a collaborative spirit between horse and rider. She takes her time, ensuring that each step of the learning process is fully understood before progressing, which fosters soundness in both body and mind.Our full board training packages provide airy, dual-aspect stables with rubber matting and generous straw bedding, along with personalised feeding options, including Bluechip products and necessary supplements.
