Venue Description:

Nestled in the charming village of Ashleworth beside the River Severn, we are just 2 miles from Hartpury College, with Gloucester 6 miles away, Cheltenham 12 miles, and Tewkesbury 10 miles. The M5 and M42 motorway connections are readily accessible. The surrounding area boasts numerous local bridleways and offers excellent riding opportunities in the Forest of Dean and the Malvern Hills. Competition venues such as Hartpury College, Mores Farm, Summerhouse Equitation Centre, and Abbey Dressage are conveniently close. We operate a small, professionally managed yard, where friendly and knowledgeable advice is always available. With staff living on-site, the yard is supervised around the clock. Our primary focus is equestrian services, rather than it being a mere side venture. Our stables are spacious, well-ventilated, and well-lit, equipped with rubber matting. With 30 acres of grassland, we provide year-round turnout in small, same-sex groups. Our all-weather, floodlit school measures 20x40m and includes jumps, along with a jumping paddock available during the summer months. We have two secure tack rooms, one featuring a washing machine and fridge, as well as restroom and shower facilities for convenience. We offer a variety of livery services, ranging from DIY to full schooling, with a strong emphasis on tender loving care. Our packages can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, recognising that every horse and owner is different. Our clientele are friendly and sociable, prioritising the well-being of their horses, and are more than willing to provide references. There is always a welcoming companion for those looking to go for a hack. All our staff are qualified professionals. Hannah, our resident BHSI, is an accredited coach with BE and holds a UKCC Level 3 qualification. She is also a Riding and Road Safety trainer, possesses a BA in Equine Studies, and is an NLP Practitioner. Hannah offers coaching across various equestrian disciplines, catering to everyone from grassroots riders to those preparing for 3* competitions, as well as supporting clients in their BHS and Pony Club examinations. With over 20 years of competitive experience, she also competes clients' horses in BE, BD, and BS events. We have an excellent veterinary practice, farrier, and a range of alternative therapy practitioners available on call.
